Reverse T3 and Thyroid Resistance

A guide to the treatment of Thyroid resistance written for the brain fogged patient

Welcome to the new home of what used to be www.thyroid-rt3.com. My hosting company took my money and failed to secure the domain so we have moved here.

There is a close link between high RT3 and adrenal issues and the Yahoo groups dealing with these two issues have now merged. There is lots of information on Adrenal issues and their relationship to RT3 on this link which is the adrenal group web site

Our web site has been in place for 6 years now (how did that happen) and has been largely successful at answering questions and healing people treat their RT3 issues. The "T3 only protocol" for clearing resistance caused by excess RT3 has been very sucessful with lots of people going through the program and achieving vast improvements in health. My own health is greatly improved and I have made further improvements as time went by. The last 2 years has been very busy in my day job and my personal life and I have not been active on the RT3 group. Anne and her fellow moderators have done an excellent job helping people on the group and I have not had time to update this web site.until now. I have also updated my personal story of my thyroid journey and the bumps I have hit along the way.

The fundamental program has not changed since we last updated this web site in 2010. The differences are in the nuances of dose timing and the subtlties of iron and adrenals interfering with the utilisation of the T3. Pages where additional information has been added are marked (updated 01/15).

I have reviewed all the links on the pages and repaired them where out of date. External links now all open in a new page, just close that one to get back to the site. updated 01/15

This web site has been set up to gather together the information and discussions that have come from the RT3 Yahoo Group. The RT3 and adrenals Yahoo groups have recently merged and if you are not already a member of that group then you can click here to join

Most people who have got to here have been through a few doctors along the way and spent a lot of money trying to recover their health.

I am not a Dr, I'm an electronics problem solver by profession, but I suffer from this condition and it's only since I discovered the RT3 yahoo group and a very astute lady called Valerie helped me that I've finally got to the bottom of my health problems. We are providing this information to help you ask your doctor the correct questions and help interpret the answers. Self treating, while possible, is a last resort and we do not recommend it.

We are very pleased to find that Doctors are among our readers and are recommending the site to their patients. I would like to give them a big welcome and am happy to answer questions from medical professionals on what we have found works in a lot of people and why the protocol does not work for some people. This is normally due to other medical conditions and when they are corrected the protocol will work, often with very dramatic improvements. (updated 01/15).

Lab numbers are a source of confusion, with TSH in range Drs insist that people must feel well and it's not thyroid. The medical profession has lost sight of how people feel, they insist on treating lab numbers and not people. Lots of information on interpreting lab numbers here
